Selection Process
A Selection process for both the posts are described as:-
For the post of Sub-Inspector:- The three phases process for the recruitment is described below:- Phase I Computer Based Test - The Online written test will be conducted in the month of September and October. The candidates who would apply for the post, have to appear for the test. The test will be consists of 120 MCQs type questions and to be completed in 90 minutes duration. 1 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 marks will be deducted for 4 incorrect answers. Question Type: The question paper is consists of three sections and the paper consist of 120 marks. The syllabus for the test is described below:- General Awareness - 50 Marks, Arithmetic - 35 Marks, and General Intelligence and Reasoning - 35 questions. Phase II Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)- The candidates who will qualify CBT shall be called for PET an PMT. It will consist of three events:
Document Verification - Merit list of the Candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written test and performance in PET and PMT for document verification. A Medical examination will be also be conducted for empanelled candidates. The candidates found fit directed to the concerned training center. The question paper is consists of four sections and the paper consist of 100 marks. The syllabus for the test is described below:- General Intelligence - 20 questions, Arithmetic - 20 questions, Language - 20 questions, and General Intelligence - 40. questions Phase III Viva Voce and Document Verification - Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written test and candidates to the extent of a maximum of three times the number of vacancies shall be called for viva-voce. The candidates called for viva-voce have to bring all original necessary documents. Medical examination will be also be conducted for empanelled candidates. The candidates found fit directed to the concerned training center. The list of documents that will be required for the Document verification process. The documents are required in original copy and for one set of a xerox copy. And the list of documents are listed as:- 1. 10th matriculation certificate as the age of poof. 2. 10th passed certificate as a proof of educational qualification(for the post of constable). 3. Graduation Certificate as a proof of educational qualification(for the post of Sub-Inspector). 4. Caste Certificate for SC/ST candidates. 5. Domicile Certificate. 6. Candidate should ensure that they have a current Mobile Number and the same should be kept active during the entire Recruitment Process as SMS alerts for the various Tests. And Candidate should scan his/her photograph having 5 c.m. of height and 3.6 c.m. of width (10kb) and signature having 2.5 c.m. of height and 7.5 c.m. of width (10kb) in jpg format for uploading the same at relevant space in the On-line Application.

A candidate has to Fill-up all the Fields given in On-line Application including mandatory Fields. After that by checking their Application Number and Date of Birth candidate have to enter their personal details like Name, father's name, age, address, Emailid and educational details also like enter your 10th marks or Graduation record in the prescribed column other details also. 3. After filling up all the required fields in the On-line Application, correctly and duly verified by the Candidate and OTP will be sent to your mobile for the confirmation process, he/she is required to ‘CONFIRM’ the Application, by clicking 'Confirm Application' Button. 4. Pay your Application fee:- Application fee:- Rs.250/- for Reserved candidates and Rs.500/- for Unreserved Candidates. There are two modes of payments, Online Payment or Cash-Challan (Offline). In case of Online Payment Mode you will pay the fee by Debit Card, Credit Card, and from Online Banking, after successful payment, Candidate will get e-Receipt please download them. If Cash-Challan Option is selected, Candidate is required to take a printout of 'Challan' in TWO Copies and pay the requisite Fees before the Challan Expiry Date, at any of the SBI Branch, by submitting the said Challan to the Bank. 5. Upload your Photograph:- Select Photo upload tab and go to the desired path where the photograph is placed. The photo must be of a prescribed size and with the white light color background. The photo must be Clear. And the Candidate has to develop the same 12 copies of the same photo for future use. 6. The Candidate should ensure that he/she receives a System generated ‘SMS’ conveying his/her Confirmation Number, on his/her 'registered' Mobile Number. 7.
