Note : In case the candidates with M.Tech. (Or) equivalent qualification is not found suitable, the candidates with M.Sc. qualification shall be considered. As per the existing norms candidates appointed as Sci/Engr. SC with M.Tech or equivalent qualification shall be considered for review to the next higher grade on completion of 2 years of service, whereas the candidates appointed with M.Sc., or equivalent qualification shall be considered for review only on completion of 4 years of service. ME/M.Tech/M.Sc.(Engg) or equivalent degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent and pre-eligibility qualification of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg) or equivalent should also be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% (Average of all semesters). M.Sc. Degree should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.
Age Limit: 35 years as on 05.07.2011. (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders. For PWD persons, orders on reservation to the extent applicable will be extended for the above posts.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100
Selection Procedure : Interview. The selected candidates may be posted at NRSC, Hyderabad/ Shadnagar, Mahaboobnagar Dist. (AP)/ Bangalore/ Nagpur/ Dehra Dun/ Jodhpur/ Kolkata. However, the Department reserves the right to post the candidates in any of the Centres/Units of the Indian Space Research Organization/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.
